Barry Hyland has been a cornerstone of Core Drilling Services since its inception, joining the company while on a working holiday from Ireland. Over the past 15 years, Barry has played a crucial role in the company’s growth and success, demonstrating exceptional dedication and expertise in various roles. Starting as a Driller’s Assistant in September 2009, Barry’s career has progressed through increasingly responsible positions, including Driller, Supervisor, and Operations Coordinator. Since June 2019, he has been serving as the Operations Manager, where his leadership and deep industry knowledge have been instrumental in driving operational excellence.

Barry completed his Executive Acumen program, which focused on strategic planning, marketing strategy, and other key business competencies. This advanced training has equipped him with the skills to steer Core Drilling Services towards future growth and innovation.

Patrick brings over 15 years of extensive experience in Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) roles, specialising in both field and strategic HSE positions across multiple industries. Before joining Core Drilling, Patrick held senior HSE roles with prominent companies across the resource sector. His recent accomplishments include leading HSE initiatives and delivering safety solutions on various projects. Patrick has also excelled in key leadership roles, where he was instrumental in successfully turning a project’s safety performance around as the Site Safety Manager.

Patrick holds qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety and a Bachelor of Business from Edith Cowen University. His robust technical foundation and hands-on experience in high-risk environments allow him to effectively implement safety management systems and lead incident investigations. With a focus on safety culture and operational efficiency, Patrick is committed to fostering a proactive and compliant HSEQ environment at Core Drilling Services.
